This film was made while researching the Scottish witch-hunts. On the Isle of Bute in Scotland, 54 witches were accused between 1649 and 1673. Some of them were blamed for different disasters including creating a storm at sea by casting a pebble into the water. Sakamoto’s performance works were filmed in several locations on the Isle of Bute.
They respond to the absurd reasons why women were accused of being witches at that time and also question what has changed and what remains in today's society.
